NOC Belarus to hold presentation of Olympic-related postage stamps

The presentation and solemn ceremony of cancellation of a postage stamps series “Medalists of the XXIII Olympic and XII Paralympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang” will take place on 20 July at the NOC Belarus HQ.

It is expected that Olympic champions biathletes Darya Domracheva, Dzinara Alimbekava, Iryna Kryuko, Nadezhda Skardino and aerials skier Hanna Huskova will attend the event. Paralympic champions in cross country skiing Sviatlana Sakhanenka and biathlete Yuri Holub, medalists in biathlon and cross country skiing Dzmitri Loban and Lidia Grafeeva will also be the guests of the ceremony.

Heads and representatives of the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees, Ministry of Communications and Informatization, Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus and national sports federations will join the Olympic Games heroes at the event.

At the end of the ceremony trainees of the national youth education and recreation center “Zubryonok” – athletes from around Belarus – will send symbolic postage cards using the stamps to their coaches to say thanks.
