PyeongChang 2018. Skier Polina Seronosova’s best in cross-country 30km mass start

The last ladies’ 30km skiing race took place today in PyeongChang. Polina Seronosova, Yulia Tikhanova and Valentina Kaminskaya from Belarus took the final chance to acquire medals.

Though finished 40th, at the same time Polina Seronosova showed herself to be the most effective of the whole Belarusian squad. She ran 30km in 1:39:36.0h (+17:18.4).

Valentina Kaminskaya placed 45th with a result of 1:42:27.6 (+20:1010). Yulia Tikhanova didn’t manage to finish.

Marit Bjørgen from the Norwegian team won the gold medal, she demonstrated the time of 1:22:17.6. The second place took the Finnish skier Krista Pärmäkoski (+1:49.5), and Swedish Stine Nielsen (+1:58.9) came third.

Forty seven skiers participated in women's 30km mass start classic.
