Useful spring holidays

The beginning of spring holidays for school students № 17 in Lida (Grodno region) and № 9 in Kalinkovichi (Gomel region) has become very sporty and informative. On March 25, about 100 schoolchildren from these educational institutions visited the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus with a guided tour of the Olympic Museum.

The children could not only get acquainted with the exhibits of the museum, but also communicate with the three-time Olympic champion, the legendary freestyle wrestler Alexander Medved. Meeting with a unique athlete, Star Ambassador of the II European Games was a real gift for young sport fans. Taking the opportunity, Alexander Medved acted as a guide and told the children about how he was honored to light the fire of the Games of the XXII Olympiad-1980 in the Belarusian capital at the Dynamo stadium.content-img.jpeg
