Yana Dombrovskaya - bronze medalist EYOF-2019 in the short track

On the final day of the Winter European Youth Olympic Festival in Sarajevo and East Sarajevo, the Belarusian short-track player Yana Dombrovskaya won a bronze award at a distance of 1000 meters.

Dombrovskaya consistently passed the qualification and semi-finals, and in the decisive race landed in the dam. However, after the judicial proceedings, the Belarusians were given third place.

After the arrival, Yana noted: “I have bronze, which I did not expect at all. Thank you for the great support guys, you are amazing. I did not expect such a result - for me this is a very high level. I love Belarus! ”

Coach Olga Migdaleva is sure: “Today, the athletes laid out to the maximum. They performed the tasks, fought with themselves. Yana coped with emotions and clearly completed her tasks. We did what we could: we represented the country with dignity, we believed in success and we succeeded.”

Belarusians finished their performance at the festival. The team has three awards: silver from the hockey team, bronze on the account of figure skater Evgenia Puzanova and short-track player Yana Dombrovskaya.
