YOG 2018. Yelisaveta Dorts won silver medal in shot put

On the ningth competitions day of the III Summer Youth Olympic Games Belarusian shot putter Yelizaveta Dorts conquered the silver medal. 

Yelizaveta was second in both rounds: on 12 October she threw the shot at 17.60m, while on 15 October her result was 17.53m. Chinese athete Xinhui Li placed first, Dane Roets from RSA was third.

Yelizaveta Dorts

17 years old Yelizaveta was born in Dokshytsy. This year she has already won the Youth Olympic Days of Belarus.

In Buenos Aires she works with coach Ihar Varantsou.

It is the seventh award collected by the Belarusian team at Buenos Aires 2018 (1-3-3). Two more medals were conquered by Belarus' athletes for international mixed teams (1-0-1).
