NOC Belarus Executive Committee Meeting

The NOC Belarus Executive Committee Meeting was held on the 31^st of May in the press center of the NOC Belarus headquarters.

Apart form the Executive Committee members the meeting was attended by the Vice-Premier of the Republic of Belarus Anatoli Tozik, Minister of education Sergey Maskevich, First Deputy Minister of health Dmitri Pinevich and a number of other officials from the sport, healthcare, science and education spheres.

The beginning of the meeting was marked with a festive mood. The First Vice-President of the NOC Belarus Igor Zaichkov, NOC Belarus Vice-President Sergey Teterin and Minister of sport Oleg Kachan congratulated NOC Belarus Vice-President Mr. Gennady Alekseenko on his 60^th birthday. Besides the NOC Belarus Secretary General George Katulin read a letter of congratulations from the NOC of Lithuania. 

The agenda of the meeting included three main issues:

1. About the work of the National academy of science of Belarus, Scientific and research institution of physical culture and sport of the Republic of Belarus and Republican center of sport science on the implementation of the Olympic assembly decision from April 9, 2010 on working out and adopting innovative technologies in the process of preparation of Belarusian athletes for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
2. On the experience of scientific and research laboratory of the Olympic sports of the Gomel state university.
3. On the work of the Sport club of trade union federation on improving the facilities of sport and recreational camps for providing efficient training camps for athletes during the summer.
