The Vytoki cultural and sport festival gave a lot of positive emotions to Mozyr residents and guests. The festival provides an opportunity for its visitors to try their hand in various sports, to see the performance of the best artists of the region, and to get familiar with the works of young artists.
The competition of young singers was a bright and dynamic event with Aleksandra Hamutovskaya celebrating the victory in the older age group.
Mariya Sadygova won in the younger age group. This young Gomel resident is a student of the Musickids Vocal Studio at the Children and the Youth Creativity Center of the Sovetsky District of Gomel. She is a Grand Prix winner and winner of many international competitions, participant of the Voice Kids auditions in Ukraine and Moscow.
“I like such events. I used to visit city festivals. Today there are a lot of people at Vytoki, who participate in various contests and have fun. We will show what we have learned. I love cycling. I have already taken part in a cycle track event in Minsk,” said Milana Zagorovskaya.
“There are a lot of venues at Vytoki to take part in contests and win prizes. This is a great festival, where we have also showed our acrobatic acts. In the evening we attended a great concert,” Kira Maslyak said.
“My friend and I have been invited to Vytoki, and we are having a great time here. We have been doing canoe sprint for three years, and we can give some advice to anyone who wants to take up this sport. We have also got a card and we want to do all the tests and win prizes. For the first time at Vytoki we can try our hand at other sports. That’s great!” said Timofei Panteleyenko from the Zhemchuzhina Polesya sport school.
“Our sport school boasts good infrastructure to train extra-class athletes. I am sure that the Vytoki festival helps our sport schools to attract new future champions. Our boats and our venue are popular with the city residents and, hopefully, soon some of these kids will join our school and get to the Olympics,” said Yelena Yedikhanova, a representative of the Mozyr branch of Gomel State Olympic Reserve College.
“I have always been attracted to strength sports. That is why I took up weightlifting. I think such a festival helps attract more young people to sports. The atmosphere is impressive: music, sports, art. I like it,” said Denis Kopets.
“I am all for our kids doing more sports, spending time on the bars. I think none of the parents are against it. At the festival I and my son tried our hand in different sports, watched how others performed in contests. There will be a concert in the evening. The heat will do down, and we will definitely come,” said Artyom Radchenko.
The venue of the Emergencies Ministry was one of the biggest at Vytoki. “There are so many children, parents here. Every festival gives emotions, but we liked Vytoki most of all,” said fire-fighting sport athlete Viktoriya Yalayeva.
The results of the festival’s creative projects were summed up after the sport activities. As for the contest among young artists, the best were Aleksandra Usova (1st place), Anastasiya Baranchuk (2nd place), Arina Artemenko (3rd place), Vera Kuzmicheva (People’s Choice Award). Congratulations!
The Vytoki festival is traveling to Mogilev Oblast, with its next edition to be staged in Bobruisk on 15-17 July.
The organizers of the Vytoki festival are the National Olympic Committee of Belarus, the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, the Arthaos and BelBrandAudit companies.
