II Winter Youth Olympic Games

The Lillehammer 2016 welcomed over a thousand athletes from 71 countries aged 15-18 and representing 15 sports.

Sixteen Belarus’ athletes (8 boys and 8 girls) were engaged in 7 sports: biathlon, alpine skiing, speed skating, snowboard (slope style), figure skating, ice hockey.

This time the Belarusian athletes were a footstep away from the winners pedestal.
