The renovated stadium will be the home arena for the men's and women's teams of the Minsk football club. Its infrastructure will be used by the club’s sports school. The stadium will also be open to the city residents. Plans are also in place for a youth creative space to open within the stadium grounds and become a center of attraction for the BRSM Youth Union activists.

The president was accompanied by the head of the NOC of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko, Sport and Tourism Minister Sergei Kovalchuk, Minsk Mayor Vladimir Kukharev and Head of the Belarus President Administration Dmitry Krutoi.

In close proximity to Tractor Stadium is the 50th Anniversary of the Great October Park, which has also been reconstructed this year. Particular attention during the renovation of the park was paid to sport facilities: courts for volleyball and mini-football, zones for streetball and skateboarding as well as workout areas featuring outdoor fitness equipment.

Nearby there is the Rings of Glory sports center for the students of the specialized children's and youth school of Olympic reserve for artistic gymnastics and acrobatics. Thanks to the reconstruction completed in 2023, the sports centerwas ungraded to conduct a training process in men's gymnastics disciplines.

Traktor Stadium was built in the 1950s and has undergone several reconstruction rounds since then. The last one was completed by 7 November of this year. Initially, it was planned as an international venue. But the plans were scaled back in connection with the construction of National Football Stadium, which is located nearby. Traktor Stadium is designed to host matches of Belarus’ football premier league.

During the reconstruction effort the grounds of the stadium were declared a youth construction site. Student construction teams from all universities of Minsk took part in the recostruction.
