Arvydas Sabnic visits Republican State Olympic Reserve Centre

Olympic champion and two-time bronze medalist Arvydas Sabonis held a session for future basketball professionals in the sports hall of the Republican State Olympic Reserve Centre.

Today three basketball teams undergo trainings there.

Aleksander Poderachev mentors the men’s youth team to secure their successful performance at the European Men’s U-16 Championship.

The other two men’s (2003 year of birth) and women’s (2004 year of birth) teams led by Nikolai Alexeev and Volha Padabed have taken up basketball trainings at the beginning of the academic year.

Arvydas dialoged the audience and agreed for autograph and photo session.

Within the visit the guests got acquainted with centre’s teaching and training organization, living conditions and feeding.
