Athletes Commissions of Olympic committees of Belarus, Russia meet in Postavy

A joint meeting between the Athletes Commissions of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus and the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) took place in Postavy on 6 June.

Attending the meeting were NOC Secretary General Ksenia Sankovich and ROC Secretary General Viktor Berezov. During the meeting held as part of the Vytoki festival, the parties discussed joint participation in various events to support and motivate athletes and other matters of cooperation to promote the Olympic movement.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of working with young people and children. The Vytoki festival serves as an ideal platform for this.

“At a time when international sports were closed to us, it was important to invest in domestic sports and our reserves. You are the first guests of the festival this year. The idea of inviting representatives of the ROC Athletes Commission to the Vytoki festival has been around for a long time. We are happy that this idea has come to fruition. We have time to explore everything here, and I hope you will enjoy the festival as much as we do,” Ksenia Sankovich said.
