Belarus, Russia to hold Strongest Cups in 15 sports

The Summer Strongest Cups bringing together the best athletes of Belarus and Russia will be running from May to August 2025.

This was announced by Russian Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev at the joint board meeting of the sports ministries of Belarus and Russia in Minsk.

Plans are in place to hold tournaments in 15 summer sports. Such competitions of the best athletes of the two countries have already become a good tradition.

Belarusian Sport and Tourism Minister Sergei Kovalchuk noted that the Winter Cup of Best Biathletes kicked off in Raubichi yesterday and soon Minsk Arena will host the best skaters of Belarus and Russia.
