Belarusian Ivan Khamtsou and Mikita Harnastaeu finished third in the Men's Relay at the 2016 UIPM Youth A Pentathlon World Championships in Limerick, Ireland, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Pentathlon Federation.

Overall, the Belarusians scored 1220 points and became the bronze winners. The Men's Relay title went to Korea (Jeong Youngjin and Kim Woocheol), silver - to Russia (Ivan Tarasov and Andrei Petrov). In the Women's Relay Belarusian Darya Trubkina and Aliaksandra Suslova settled for 11th position with 1002 points. The victory was celebrated by Italy's Aurora Tognetti and Elena Micheli (1108 points). All in all, Belarus clinched three awards at the UIPM 2016 Youth A World Championships at the University of Limerick: silver in the Men's Individual Final (Ivan Khamtsou) and team bronze. The next important event for boys will be the UIPM European Youth A Championships 2016, which will take place in Spain from 26 July to 1 August.
