Belarus to compete in seven sports at EYOF in Skopje

On 1 July, the Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus approved the delegation to the 18th Summer European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) which will be held in Skopje, North Macedonia from 20 to 27 July 2025. 

Team Belarus will compete in seven sports: badminton (1 boy and 1 girl), cycling (4 boys and 4 girls), judo (6 boys and 6 girls), shooting (2 boys and 2 girls), table tennis (1 boy and 1 girl), taekwondo (5 boys and 5 girls), and swimming (2 boys and 8 girls).

The team will include 48 athletes (21 boys and 27 girls). All in all, there will be 71 people on the team taking into account coaching, medical and administrative staff.

The head of the international relations department Vasily Yurchik was appointed chef de mission.

At the meeting the Executive Board granted permanent recognition of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus to the Belarusian Kickboxing and Thai Boxing Federation and the temporary recognition to the Belarusian Kickboxing Federation as the only sports organization developing kickboxing (WKF) in the territory of the Republic of Belarus for the period up until 31 December 2025; and revoked the recognition from the Belarusian Water-Motor Sports Federation and the Belarusian Bowling Federation in connection with the termination of its activities.

During the meeting, the Executive Board approved the regulations on the recognition of federations (unions, associations) by sport; made changes to the membership of the NOC standing commission on work with federations by sport.

Belagroprombank will continue to support the Olympic movement as the general sponsor of the NOC of Belarus until 2028
