Belarusian wrestler Uladzislau Kazlou clinches U23 European champion title

Uladzislau Kazlou of Belarus edged Bady Maadyr Samdan of Russia 2-1 in the final to claim the 97kg freestyle gold at the U23 European Wrestling Championships in Tirana, Albania.

On the way to the podium the Belarusian defeated Greece’s Nikolaos Karavanos 4-1, secured a technical fall against Sergey Sargsyan of Armenia, and prevailed over Ukraine’s David Mchedlidze 2-0.

Uladzislau Kazlou is a bronze medalist of the U23 World Wrestling Championships in Tirana.
