Best Athletes Cup: Belarusian speed skaters win 11 medals at Minsk Arena

The Belarusian capital is hosting the Best Athletes Cup: Speed Skating. Following the two competition days Belarusian athletes have won 11 (4, 4, 3) medals.

Gold medals were claimed by Maryna Zuyeva (3,000m), Hanna Damaratskaya (1,000m), and Yahor Damaratsky (5,000m). Hanna Damaratskaya, Yekaterina Gagiyeva and Sofia Taturevich won the team sprint.

Ignat Galavatsiuk claimed silver medals in the 500m and 1,000m events. The 1,500m event and mass starts are scheduled for 28 February.

Vice President of the NOC of Belarus Dzmitry Dauhalionak took part in the medal ceremony for the speed skaters at Minsk Arena.
