Newly opened football stadium in Borisov accommodates 13.000 spectators; it took the 7th place with the total of  63,371 points scored. The three best sports include Allianz Parque in Sao Paulo, Brazil (43,600 spectators), San Mames Barria in Bilbao, Spain (52,289 spectators) and Otkritie Stadium in Moscow, Russia (45,000 spectators). 97 thousand people from 136 countries took part in this vote assessing qualities of 32 stadiums from the entire world.

Borisov-Arena designed by the Slovenian company Ofis Arhitekti became the first Belarusian sports complex to take part in such a prestigious contest. The Arena’s erection began in November 2010 and cost approximately €50 mln. On May 3, 2014 the complex hosted the Belarus Cup final when Shakhtior Soligorsk prevailed Neman Grodno (1-0). Last year Arena faced certain challenges: it hosted not only Belarusian Championship and UEFA Champions League matches of BATE Borisov, but UEFA Europe League matches of Dinamo Minsk and the Belarusian national team as well. The venue has the 4th category, which means that Arena can host high-level competitions.

This year the locals are ready to extend a warm welcome to sportsmen and fans at Borisov Arena on March 21 when the new football season opens with the Belarus Cup quarterfinal match BATE vs. Neman Grodno.

Besides football and other tournaments  the visitors can take the advantage of its fitness club, the children’s playground, dance studios and sports equipment rental.
