Celebrating champions: Olympic victories start with mom and dad

Belarus marks Parental Love Week on 14-21 October.

Mother’s Day, one of the most important days in the year, was marked last Monday, 14 October.



The NOC of Belarus extended Mother’s Day greetings to all mothers and sportswomen.

The National Olympic Committee teamed up with the Women and Sport Standing Committee to organize a wonderful event for Belarusian prominent champions and medalists of the Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships and European Games and their children.

The NOC of Belarus hosted a presentation of the Olympic Portrait project jointly implemented with Viva Kola Art. The project featured ten portraits of Belarusian outstanding sportswomen, created by Belarusian artists.

The children also tried their best to draw portraits of their mothers, and did really well.
