Belarusian Daria Domracheva finished 2nd in mass start at the 5th World Cup stage in Ruhpolding, Germany, which ended on January, 13, BELTA,Belarus.
At 12.5 km distance with four shooting ranges Daria Domracheva missed the target two times (1+0+1+0) and finished 26.7 seconds behind the winner Tora Berger, Norway (1 miss), who came with the result 37 min 14.4 seconds. Russian Olga Zaitseva finished 3rd (1 miss; +37.8 seconds)
After the final shooting range Daria Domracheva was 3rd , 17 seconds behind Olga Zaitseva, but at the final lap she didn’t only win back the lag, but finished 11 seconds ahead of the Russian biathlete.
One more Belarusian competitor Nadezhda Skardino (1 miss; +2 min 39.1 seconds) finished 20th among 30 competitors.
Daria Domracheva finished at the podium second time at the World Cup stage, in Ruhpolding. On January 11 she came second in sprint.
After the 5th World Cup stage Daria Domracheva climbed the 3rd place in overall standings having acquired 443 points. Norwegian Tora Berger (574 points) is heading the race for Big Crystal Globe trophy and German Miriam Gössner (471 points) is second.
Belarusian Nadezhda Skardino is at 15th place in World Cup standings with 274 points, Anastasiya Duboreznova (57) is at 39th place, Lyudmila Kalinchik (44) – 43rd, Nadezhda Pisareva (27) – 57th, Irina Krivko (7) – 73rd. In total 82 biathletes acquired points in World Cup Score.
The 5th World Cup contest in Ruhpolding finished today with men’s 15 km mass start race. Belarusian biathletes didn’t participate.
