Executive Board calls meeting of Belarus’ NOC Assembly

On 3 December, Belarus’ National Olympic Committee hosted a meeting of the Executive Board which decided to convene a reporting and election General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus in the first quarter of 2025.

The Executive Board also extended the provisional recognitions of a number of federations: Belarusian Federation of Fire and Rescue Sport, Federation of Equipped and Classic Powerlifting, Belarusian Checkers Federation, Belarusian Federation of Pankration and Mixed Martial Arts, Belarusian Federation of Gorodki Sports, Belarusian Federation of Hand-to-Hand Combat and Mixed Martial Arts, Belarusian Federation of Armwrestling.

The Executive Board supported the proposal on additional incentives in the period of 2025-2028 for the federations whose representatives successfully performed at the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad in Paris.

Other issues related to the current activities of the organization were also considered during the meeting.
