Gomel region. Charity campaign

On the 24th of December, 2010 athletes from the Gomel region, students from Gomel State University of F. Skarina along with Ded Moroz (local Santa Claus) and Snegurochka (his granddaughter) paid a visit to little patients from the hospital unit of children’s haematology of the Republican scientific center of the radiological medicine and ecology.

The Representative office of the NOC Belarus in the Gomel region brought some presents: an “Atlant” refrigerator, football, basketball and volleyball balls for the hospital’s game room.

Besides, the organizers conducted a mini concert and a quiz, where the little participants could win sweet prizes.

A famous javelin thrower Vladimir Kozlov and decathlete Eduard Mihan told grateful listeners stories about themselves and wished them staying in good health. At the final part of the visit all the children of the unit got a ball as a present.

The visit was organized by the Representative office of the NOC Belarus in the Gomel region, Gomel State University of F. Skarina and public association “Children’s haematology”.
