Legendary Olympic champion Arvydas Sabonis paid visit to NOC Belarus

President of the Lithuanian Basketball Federation, Soviet and Lithuanian professional basketball player, Olympic champion and two-time bronze medalist, European and world champion Arvydas Sabonis together with Secretary General Mindaugas Spokas called on the NOC Belarus headquarters.

He had a talk with his counterpart, President of the Belarusian Basketball Federation and First Vice President of the NOC Belarus Maksim Ryzhenkov.

They discussed a range of joint projects aimed at consolidation of cooperation between two countries for the purposes of international and sports relations development.

The guests could also inspect the NOC’s exhibition dedicated to the Olympic movement in Belarus with its numerous awards, sports uniform, Olympic torches, mascots, etc. As the excursion ended the delegation walked upstairs to the Hall of Olympic Fame to take a closer look at the Olympic Belarus' achievements and see the Olympians’ portraits. 

After the visit was over Arvydas left his signature in the Honorary Guests Register of the NOC Belarus.
