Maksim Ryzhenkov re-elected Belarusian Basketball Federation’s Chairman

In the course of today’s extraordinary reporting and election conference of the Belarusian Basketball Federation Maksim Ryzhenkov was re-elected Chairman.

It was a unanimous decision of the delegates on Ryzhenkov’s candidacy. The Chairman noted in his speech that the Federation’s functioning had been duly organized for the last two years.

-Basketball players feel confident, all our national teams in different age divisions took part in the European championships qualification and didn’t miss a match for funding reazons, - said Ryzhenkov.

Four current Deputy Chairmen were re-appointed, the fifth 3x3 Deputy will add them up. 

Maksim Ryzhenkov took charge of the Belarusian Basketball Federation in 2014. For the time he has been leading the Federation, Minsk hosted the European 3x3 Championship, the women’s team qualified for the Olympic Games and broke into the European Championship 2017 final round.
