Mogilev region. International Olympic Day

  The Representative office of the NOC Belarus in the Mogilev region traditionally holds official and sport events on the occasion of the International Olympic Day celebrations in Mogilev and its region.

  That day Olympic day runs, sport competitions among children, Olympic quizzes, meetings with champions and winners of the Olympic Games , Olympic arts contests were held all over the region.

  The mainstream event was held of at the Mogilev Gymnastics Palace. The chairman of the NOC Belarus Representative office in the Mogilev region, deputy governor of the Mogilev regional executive committee Valery Malashko and the Olympic Champion Aleksandr Maseikov addressed the public with their welcome speeches, then an anthem of the Republic of Belarus was played which marked the official start of the International Olympic Day.

  The festive event was attended by a number of honorary guests such as the Olympic Champion Svetlana Baitova, the Olympic Games winner Aleksandra Zuborenko and many others.

  All the spectators of the event were amazed and surprised by numerous performances in different kinds of sports such as acrobatics, trampoline, rhythmic and artistic gymnastics. Besides, a huge screen by the Mogilev gymnastics palace showed a movie about Olympic triumph of such great gymnasts as Vitali Scherbo, Svetlana Baitova and Tatyana Petrenya.  The Representative office of the NOC Belarus in the Mogilev region held an awarding ceremony presenting memorable gifts and certificates to the best gymnasts of the region. All the participants of the events received International Olympic Day certificates.
