NOC chief congratulates Smolski on winning Commonwealth Cup title

President of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko has congratulated Anton Smolski on the magnificent overall victory in the Commonwealth Biathlon Cup.

“Dear Anton, being the undisputed team leader, you have been proving throughout the season that you are deservedly the favorite of the tournament. It is even more difficult to defend the title than to win it for the first time. You did a brilliant job, repeatedly demonstrating enviable persistence and skill, psychological stability and talent on ski track and shooting range. Your triumph has made the hearts of millions of fans in our dear Belarus and beyond beat stronger,” the message of greetings reads.

The head of the NOC also lauded the fruitful work of the coaching staff and wished Anton and the whole team good health, strength and inspiration to conquer new heights.
