NOC commission reviews medical care provision at Best Athletes Cup

Issues related to the athletes’ medical support at the Best Athletes Cup have been considered by the medical commission of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus.

The National Olympic Committee of Belarus hosted a meeting of the medical and anti-doping commission on 13 March.

Chaired by Irina Malevanaya, Chairwoman and Director of the National Scientific and Practical Center of Sports, the committee discussed the plans for the organization of the NOC project “In Search of Stars: Talent in Every Child”, reviewed the performance of Belarusian athletes in winter sports at the Best Athletes Cup, comparing it with international competitions held at the same time.

The commission also discussed issues related to the medical care provision at the upcoming Winter Olympic Games in Cortina d'Ampezzo and Milan.
