Viktor Lukashenko welcomed the participants of the conference and noted that today elite sport is, in fact, not about a competition of athletes but a competition of training technologies.

“Each athlete is a kind of ‘product’ of their coach's professional activities. The coach’s knowledge and skills determine the quality of this ‘product’. Sports medicine, being an integral part of training, is designed to solve a number of specific tasks,” the NOC President said.

Viktor Lukashenko assured that the NOC is ready to support sports medicine in the country and is willing to continue cooperation as part of new and interesting projects.

The NOC President thanked the conference participants for their professionalism and selfless work and wished everyone strong health, every success and productive work during the conference.
