Olympic Day celebration

Dear athletes and coaches, veterans and amateurs!

The National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus congratulates you on the International Olympic Day!

The holiday, which is celebrated every year on June 23, is designed to play a special role in our world. The basic values laid down by the founder of the Olympic movement – unity, respect, mutual understanding and cooperation – should unite people, help make our world a better and united place for the sake of the progress of all .

Belarus has always had these principles. The NOC of our country strictly follows to all the provisions of the Olympic Charter, seeks to protect our athletes from attempts to use them for political purposes. We consistently advocate the principle of “sport is outside politics".

Belarusian Olympians are a good example for the new generation, thanks to their efforts, young people see and understand that it is fashionable and prestigious to play sports and lead a healthy lifestyle now.

We thank all the athletes who successfully defend the honor of our country in the international arena. Your victories inspire many people and allow them to move forward confidently, achieve new successes, and give a lot of positive emotions.
