On September 26, leading Belarusian specialists and invited experts from Russia discussed a systematic approach to physical exercise, nutrition, proper recovery and psychological work of an athlete on himself at the seminar “Train Smart: A Course on Sports Literacy” at the NOC of Belarus.
Dzmitry Daugalionak, Vice-President of the NOC of Belarus, addressed the participants with welcoming remarks, noting the need for such discussion platforms and continuous educational process in this direction.
Irina Malevanaya, Chairman of the Medical and Anti-Doping Commission of the NOC of Belarus, Director of the RNPC of Sport, talked about the most urgent topics of medicine in modern sport.
– As in previous years, we invited interesting speakers who communicate, answer many questions, propose joint topics, discuss and find interesting solutions. Today we received comprehensive information on the issues raised. We thank the NOC of Belarus, which is attentive to this important area in sport. Our medical commission, RNPC of sport always find support of the Olympic Committee, – said Irina Malevanaya.
The educational seminar in Minsk was attended by more than 150 trainees, including athletes and coaches, representatives of BSUFK and the center of the Higher School of Coaches.
