Time of Our Victories show: Towards dreams, friendship, love and new heights

The spectacular sports and entertainment show Time of Our Victories has wrapped up in the Minsk Arena.

Renowned athletes Ivan Litvinovich, Alina Harnasko, Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya, Anastasiia Salos, famous performers, foreign guests stunned with their flamboyant choreographic and music performances at the Time of Our Victories show.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, who inspired this event, also came to see the show.

The main idea behind the event is unity and unification. As planned, the program was divided into 12 themes defined by 12 verbs that motivate people to act: dream, appreciate, love, create, remember, be friends.

Each “hour” on the symbolic dial showed corresponding music and sports entries.

TIME... This irreplaceable resource is needed to work towards a dream, friendship, love, creation, victories and all the good things that a person strives for. No one but us can build our future for us and this time has come!

A captivating performance by Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist Alina Harnasko of Belarus and Russian pop star Polina Gagarina.

“It turned out to be an incredibly beautiful show. I was a little nervous, but I pulled myself together and enjoyed the show. A grandiose show, 7,000 spectators in the stands; it will be great to have such events annually. We have been preparing for it a lot for the last three days, I could say we haven't even left the Minsk Arena. But it was worth it. I am not quite used to performing on such a stage, with big screens, bright lights, it was difficult to throw the club high and catch it, I tried to rely mostly on my experience. I really liked the acrobats from China, their performance was mind-blowing. The performers from Russia showed wonderful folk dances. In general, a large number of professionals worked on the show, all the entries were different both in style and message. I am sure that the audience also liked the show,” Alina Harnasko said.

The Time of Our Victories show had an international line-up that included artists of the Acrobatic Troupe of Gansu Province from China.

The show organizers also staged an entry featuring people with special needs. The National Team for Disabled Sports performed together with the famous Russian singer Polina Gagarina to the song Sky in the Eyes.

The sports and entertainment show Time of Our Victories concluded on a high note with the song What Have You Done for the Motherland?

A united nation and a strong country. Common goals and actions. We remember the lessons of the past and value the present. We are proud of our achievements and strive for new heights. We turn dreams into reality and inspire others. Our time has come! The time of our victories!

Belarusian athletes and artists, together with all the participants of the show, performed one of the most patriotic songs.
