Viktor Lukashenko: the success of the BAG is due to the hard work of athletes and coaches

The President of the NOC of Belarus stated this at a solemn event on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the foundation of this public Belarussian accociation of gymnastic (BAG).

– Since its foundation, your organization has achieved a lot and is one of the leading in the sports industry. In every corner of the country there are your disciplines where young athletes are brought up. You put a lot of effort into sports to remain as interesting.

Athletes continue to delight with their results and win at the Olympic Games," Viktor Lukashenko said.

There have been 13 awards in total since 1996, 2 of which are gold.

Viktor Lukashenko wished the association successful projects, reliable partners and new victories for the benefit of Belarusian sports and presented the chairman of the public organization Elena Skripel with a valuable gift from the NOC of Belarus. The Head of the BAG expressed her gratitude for the support and presented her Gratitude to the Olympic Committee.

During the solemn event on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Belarusian Gymnastics Association, Viktor Lukashenko presented the NOC's Gratitude to the coaches and athletes of the Soviet and sovereign period who contributed to the development of the Olympic movement, mass sports and sports of the highest achievements.

Among the awardees are champions and prize-winners of the Olympic Games, World and European championships.
