Postavy, Vitebsk Oblast, has hosted the sports and cultural festival Vytoki that brought a lot of fun to locals and visitors of the festival.
The third day of the three-day festival offered new experiences and adventures. The festival organizers tried to make sure that everyone could find something of interest for themselves.
The Olympic Quiz drew experts in the Olympic movement from all over the country. This year, in addition to representatives of the general public, teams of famous athletes from Belarus and Russia took part in the tournament.
Two teams aced the questions on the history of sports and the Olympic movement. One of them was the team Kedy [Canvas Sneakers] from Grodno, who, despite the small number of members, handled the questions perfectly. The other team – Survivors – scored the same number of points. It was a team of acclaimed athletes from Russia.
By lunchtime, the renovated stadium in Postavy was ready to receive participants of the Olympic Quest, the most anticipated and large-scale event of the festival.
The event was launched by two-time Olympic champion Ivan Litvinovich, Olympic silver medalist Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya and bronze medalist of the Tokyo Games Maksim Nedasekau.
That's what two-time Olympic champion in trampoline gymnastics Ivan Litvinovich said about the festival after the opening of the Olympic Quest:
“The kids can try a hand in various sports. There are many sites here, they meet their idols, mingle with them. The festival sparks children's interest in sports. This is also a great opportunity for athletes to meet and spend time together, because it is usually very hard to get together due to the tight schedule of performances and training sessions.”

It was a dynamic and truly sporty day!
Yana Sevostyuk, a participant in the Olympic Quest, said that the festival is evolving and she would like to take part in the further events of the project.
“I was born in Novogrudok. I moved to Postavy two years ago. I took part in Vytoki back when I was in my hometown. The advertising campaign for the festival was large-scale: ads were all over social media; commercials were shown on television, so it was easy to find out about the festival. Over the past two years, Vytoki has grown significantly: more locations, interesting challenges. I also attended a cymbalist concert - the performance was amazing,” Yana Sevostyuk said.
Young participant of the Olympic Quest Aleksandra Medvedeva first visited the festival in 2023 when it was held in the town of Glubokoye. This time she used another chance to test herself on the sports grounds.
“After the quest in Glubokoye, I started spending more time outdoors, I became more active. In Postavy, I tried a hand in football, basketball, hockey, shooting and running. But most of all I liked shooting, which I would like to pursue.
