Vytoki unveils new project “In Search of Stars: Discovering Talent in Every Child!”

The site of the National Research and Treatment Center for Sports was one of the most popular venues among parents and children at the Vytoki sports and cultural festival.

Fathers and mothers of future champions wanted to find out what sport suits their children the most!

“The task of this nationwide project is to help children aged 5-12 years to select the right sport, to help fledgling athletes choose another sport, if things are not going so well in the sport they are currently pursuing. The sport talent identification program can suggest which physical skills to develop. Every child is talented, everyone should strive for regular physical activity, and this activity should be enjoyable,” noted Head of the laboratory of sports training theory and techniques of the National Research and Treatment Center for Sports Yelena Khromenkova.

The project of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus and the National Research and Treatment Center for Sports “In Search of Stars: Discovering Talent in Every Child!” invites children to undergo comprehensive testing in biomechanics, physiology, psychology using special equipment to identify their aptitude to a particular sport.
