World Cup bronze medal for Belarus’ rhythmic gymnasts

The traditional spring FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup stage has been running in Tashkent during April 21-23.

Ninety best gymnasts from nineteen countries compete for medals in the capital’s Palace of Gymnastics. Following the outcome of the two-day tournament, today the winners and medalists in individuals and group all-round have been determined.

The Belarusian team of Hanna Haidukevich, Hanna Shvaiba, Alina Sevostianova, Aryna Tsytsylina, Ksenia Chaldyshkina, Marharyta Avadzinskaya have taken the third place (32 500 points) in group exercises.

The Russian graces have placed first (36 250), Bulgarians second (35 050).

Finals are scheduled for tomorrow. Australia, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Israel, Indonesia, Spain, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Russia, the USA, Thailand, Ukraine, Finland, Switzerland, Estonia, Japan and Uzbekistan have been in competition there.
