World No. 1 in the WTA rankings finished the Wimbledon tournament

Aryna Sabalenka reached the semi-final stage of her third Grand Slam tournament.

In the semi-finals, the Belarusian lost to Amanda Anisimova from USA – 4:6, 6:4, 4:6.

In 2025, the world's number one racket won tournaments in Brisbane, Miami, Madrid and reached the finals of the Grand Slam tournaments in Melbourne and Paris.

This result during the 2025 season allowed Sabalenka to qualify for the WTA Finals in Riyadh. In the championship race of the season (WTA ranking separately), Aryna scored 6615 points and will no longer be able to find herself outside the top 8.

The World Women's Association (WTA) Finals will be held in Saudi Arabia from November 1 to 8. Aryna Sabalenka has competed for the prestigious trophy five times, but has yet to win it.

– Every year my goal is to qualify for the WTA Finals. And to be the first to do so this season is a special moment for me and my team. Playing in Riyadh was an amazing experience, and I am looking forward to returning in November to compete for the Billie Jean King Trophy, – Aryna Sabalenka told the WTA press service.
