On February 9-16, 2019 the delegations from 46 countries took part in the XIV Winter European Youth Olympic Festival in Sarajevo and East Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) 911 athletes between the ages of 14 and 18 took part in the tournament.
The festival program included 8 disciplines: alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, figure skating, hockey, Nordic combined, snowboarding and curling.
46 Belarusian athletes participated in six different sports: biathlon (4 boys and 4 girls), cross-country skiing (4 boys and 4 girls), short track (2 boys and 2 girls), skiing (2 boys, 2 girls), ice hockey (20 boys), figure skating (1 boy and 1 girl).
The Belarusian team recieved three medals: the silver medal recieved the hockey team, bronze won Yauhenii Puzanau (figure skating) and Yana Dambrouskaya (short track).
