Belarus’ national football team has defeated the Azerbaijan team 2:0 in a friendly match in Baku
Carlos Alós' team was off to a powerful start and performed at the top of their game throughout the first half of the match. They were close to scoring a goal several times, especially in the last 10-15 minutes.
In the 59th minute, after a free kick, Zabelin managed to score a goal through the crowd of players on his second attempt. The second goal was scored in the 78th minute by Nikita Demchenko. He scored soon after he appeared on the field as a substitute.
A reminder, Belarus’ team trounced the Tajikistan team 5:0 in Dushanbe a few days ago. The Azerbaijan team also had a friendly three days ago, where they lost to Haiti 0:3.
