II CIS Games finished in Minsk

The closing ceremony took place on August 13, 2023 at the Minsk Arena.

For ten days, athletes from more than 20 countries competed for awards in 20 sports. The sports forum met the expectations of many - a real holiday and excellent competitive practice for future champions. Belarus used all the experience of holding such major tournaments in various sports.

The organizers surprised the athletes with a parade, a rich concert program and bright stage performances.

Especially for the closing show, compositions dedicated to sports were written. The closing theme is farewell to the sports fairy tale. The ceremony also saw the transfer of the CIS flag to Azerbaijan, where the next Games will be held in 2025.

II Games of the CIS countries will go down in history as a significant sporting event.

At the end of the colorful sports festival, a dance program was held for the participants of the competitions and foreign guests.

The headliner of the disco for young champions was the famous performer Khabib.
