HC Metallurg Zhlobin win third President’s Cup title in a row

НC Metallurg Zhlobin won the fourth game of the final playoff series against their rivals from Brest to secure the President’s Cup trophy.

The victory in the event became the fourth one for the Zhlobin team in the history of the club. HC Metallurg Zhlobin lifted the trophy in 2012, 2022 and 2023. Dmitry Kravchenko's men finished the 2023/24 regular season in sixth place to solve HC Yunost Minsk in the first round (4-1 in the series) and then HC Gomel in the semifinals (4-1). Despite the failure in the final, this season became the best one for HC Brest since the club was founded - the team won silver in the Belarusian championship for the first time over the past 25 years.
