Victor Lukashenko, President of the NOC of Belarus, opened the first national Pro Sport marketing award ceremony.

“I am delighted to welcome everyone to this ceremony. As we discussed yesterday during the project presentations, today we will summarize the results of our challenging work and congratulate the winners of our marathon - our Pro Sport Award. But before we move on to the ceremonial part, I would like to highlight a few points.

First, and I believe we all agreed on this yesterday as well, this award is highly relevant and very much needed. I think we will certainly consider continuing this wonderful tradition and will decide on its frequency.

Second, it is clear that here in Belarus, within our sport industry, we have creative, smart individuals and teams capable of delivering what they have demonstrated over this period. I want to say that while we are still learning, we also have a lot to teach others.

Third, of course, is that even with good projects, they still need to be presented and pitched correctly. This is something we observed both yesterday and throughout the entire period. Therefore, dear friends, this has served as an excellent platform for us to meet once again, to reflect on what we have seen and reviewed, to draw conclusions, and to, as the saying goes, embark on a path toward new achievements.

I would like to thank our organizers, who have worked from the initial idea right up to its realization here today. A special thanks must go to our general partner, the Betera team, who supported us in this complex undertaking and lent us a shoulder to lean on. It has reaffirmed our belief that there are people who not only make a business of sports but who genuinely help and support the sporting world, and it is thanks to this that we are able to move forward.

I would also like to extend my sincere thanks once more to our jury that worked tirelessly throughout the entire day yesterday. I know you were here until late at night; before that, you had an immense amount of work - you had to not just review 150 projects, but analyze them, draw conclusions, and, most importantly, approach them impartially and fairly, even though some of the judges had their own teams competing as well. For that, you deserve all the honor and praise, and we will certainly take this into account and be sure to invite you to our future events.

And finally, thank you once more to all the participants. I want to congratulate you again. The places you took are not what’s most important - of course, first place is first, followed by second and third. But even those who did not make it to the finals have learned a great deal and have gained a clearer understanding of where to go and what to do next,” said Victor Lukashenko.

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the organizer – the NOC of Belarus and the entire working group that participated in preparing and implementing this project.

Our company could not stand aside, as this is a landmark event in the life of our sport. I thank the jury and all the participants for their creative and innovative approach. We sincerely hope this marketing award becomes an annual event, and that the projects grow even more ambitious and continue to amaze us all,” BETERA Executive Director Mikhail Gerasimovich said.

The award ceremony was concluded by Ksenia Sankovich, Secretary General of the NOC of Belarus.

We congratulate the winners on their well-deserved awards. The outcome of this first award ceremony, which we were all very anxious to see succeed, has exceeded all our expectations. This was especially true when we saw the emotions of the champions, the first-ever winners of this award, who in the future, many years from now, will be spoken of as its pioneers. I would like to express my gratitude to the president of the NOC of Belarus. Without your support, Viktor Aleksandrovich, it would have been very difficult. You support all of us because you give due attention to all the ideas and opinions of the people who surround you in the world of sports.
