Baku 2019. Maxim Stupakevich became the bronze medalist of the summer EYOF.

On July 22 on the second competitive day at the XV Summer European Youth Olympic Festival four Belarusian athletes hold medal fights for bronze medals. One of them Maxim Stupakevich got it.

Maxim is a Greco-Roman fighter in the weight category up to 48 kg .In the battle for bronze in additional indicators he surpassed the Turkish fighter Emin Sakira - 8: 8.

Maxim Stupakevich said: “I did not go to Baku for bronze. In my plans was a medal of a higher value. Here is very serious competition.I lost to an Azerbaijani - an opponent completely unfamiliar to me. I think the experience I gained here will be important for me. ”

This is the second award of the Belarusian team at the summer ESOF-2019.
