Belagroprombank turns 35: A legacy of financial stability and Olympic victories

Belagroprombank marks its 35th anniversary with a legacy that spans financial stability, a trusted reputation, ambitious projects, family values, and a proud place in the nation’s Olympic story.

Today, 3 September, Belagroprombank marks its 35th anniversary. The general sponsor of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus meets this milestone as one of the country’s leading financial institutions, whose history is inextricably linked with the development of the national economy and sports.

A ceremonial event honoring the bank’s best employees took place in the Hall of Olympic Glory to mark the occasion.

President of the National Olympic Committee Viktor Lukashenko presented the Honorary Badge of the NOC of Belarus to Anatoly Lysyuk, Chairman of the Board of Belagroprombank. The award recognized the bank’s major contribution to national sport and decades of fruitful collaboration.

“You have achieved a great deal in the financial services sector, but your contribution to the development of sports is equally significant. Beyond your support for and cooperation with sports organizations, the bank’s staff is itself remarkably athletic, as we just saw in your film. And it is hardly a secret that your organization rightly holds the unofficial title of the country’s most athletic bank. The NOC of Belarus is delighted to be walking the path of sporting achievements alongside you. Together, we have done a lot for Belarusian sport and the Olympic movement, and we are implementing various projects. The Belagroprombank team, like our athletes, possesses tremendous team spirit and is focused on achieving the highest results. We still have many victories ahead, and we will stand on the most prestigious podiums many more times,” he said.

In this anniversary year, Viktor Lukashenko wished Belagroprombank and its staff continued prosperity, new large-scale and successful projects, outstanding achievements, good health, and happiness.
