Belarus has already gotten 3 medals at the European Athletics Championships.

As NOC of Belarus says, on the third day of the Championship, which is held on March 5-8 in Prague, Belarus earned another 2 medals.

Medal count of Belarus consists of 3 medals: 1 gold and 2 silver ones. Following the results of three days our team holds the 4th position in team rating.

We recall that Alina Talay finished first on the 60 metres hurdles the day before. Today Svetlana Kudelich took the silver on 3000 metres run and Yulia Leontiuk in shot put.

Minister of Sports and Tourism Aleksandr Shamko, President of Belarus Athletic Federation Vadim Devyatovskiy, National Team Head Coach Igor Sivodedov and Director of National Olympic Training Center Vasily Ivanyuk congratulated the athletes with their successful performance.

Within the tournament the Belarusian delegation has studied the experience in organizing the European Athletics Championships in O2 Arena as this sports venue has similar features with "Minsk Arena" complex where this type of event can be hosted.
