Belarus into 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup final

Before the starting hooter, Nicolas Alvarado's men were considered favorites of the match, but the Senegalese team demonstrated their high spirit and made the Belarusian players show their best.

Aleh Hapon scored the winner to power Belarus into their maiden FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup final.

A year earlier, Belarus and Senegal faced each other in the World Cup group stage in Dubai. Then, the Belarusian team secured a 6-4 win.

The current success has become a remarkable achievement for the Belarusian beach soccer.

Last year Team Belarus placed fourth.

The final match against the winner of the Portugal vs Brazil fixture promises to be one of the central sporting events of May for Belarus.

The final is due to take place in Paradase Arena in Seychelles on 11 May (18.30).
