The first stage of the Belarusian Open Cup in memory of State coach of the Republic of Belarus, Honored coach of the USSR and BSSR Anatol Iourtchyk. As a part of the competitions program, the rewarding ceremony for the best shooters of Belarus took place there.
The ceremony was attended by Anatol Iourtchik's family, Olympic champion Sergei Martynov and his coach Vladimir Stolyarov, Director of Representative office of NOC of Belarus in Brest region Elena Belokonenko, head coach of national team Igor Basinski and other officials.
Following the results of the last year, Vitali Bubnovich and Illia Charheika received awards as the best athletes.
Head of the International Relations Department Vasili Iourtchik bestowed upon the shooters on behalf of the NOC Belarus.
The certificate of Master of Sports of International Class was solemnly handed over to Antanina Chyzhyk. The first day of competitions brought diplomas to winner and medalists of 10M Air Rifle among women Yauheniya Dzikaya (1 place), Svetlana Shcherbatsevich (2nd place) and Polina Zaitseva (3 place).
At the opening ceremony celebration of the participant of the Olympiad 1992 in Barcelona and Athens in 2004, multiple medalist of the European Championships and the Master of Sports of International Class Andrei Vasiliev occurred, when Elena Belokonenko presented him with a valuable gift.
