Coach Vladimir Krikunov leaves Belarusian National Team

Vladimir Krikunov is no longer the head coach of Belarus National Team, - informed press office of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation.

Results of the working meeting between Igor Rachkovsky, the President of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Association, and Vladimir Krikunov, the head coach of Belarus National Team, have changed the situation in Belarusian hockey.

Vladimir Krikunov has shared his anxiety about the difficulties that his hockey club Neftekhimik (Nizhnekamsk) is currently facing. That’s why the coach asked Igor Rachkovsky to give him an opportunity to leave for the team to help them in overcoming problems.
At the end of the long-lasting conversation both sides took mutual and hard decision to cancelled the collaboration.
