EYOF 2015. Results of the fourth day

During the fourth day of EYOF Belarusian athletes competed in the following disciplines: cross-country skiing and alpine skiing.

Alpine skiing. Boys

108 athletes participated in the giant slalom. Chertsin Danill, Chertsin Uladzislav and Zvernik Vlad represented the Republic of Belarus.

Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Shamko, Advisor to the National Olympic Committee of Belarus Georgij Katulin arrived to support our athletes.

Alexander Shamko and Georgij Katulin got acquainted with the peculiarities of organization and preparation of sport facilities, coaches, referees, athletes as a part of preparation for the European Youth Olympic Festival Minsk-2019.

Chertsin Danill has shown the best results among Belarusian team and came 34th (1.42.90) according to two attempts.

Chertsin Uladzislav showed 40th result (1.52.61).

Zvernik Vlad made a technical error during the first attempt and didn’t manage to score.

Rafael Haaser from Austria became gold medalist - 1.28.05.

«At the end of the festival we can make only one conclusion – we should work harder, - said the coach Dmitry Dolzhenko. - There is something to think about. Our athletes need more competitions, they need special training on similar tracks»

Cross Country Skiing

On the 29 of January our athletes competed for the sets of medals in the sprint (classic style).

The distance of the track for the boys was 1335 meters.
