Belarus' rhythmic gymnasts won four medals on the second day of the World Cup ninth series in Kazan, - reports BELTA.

Individual rhythmic gymnast Melitina Staniouta claimed three medals. Although she had been fifth in individual all-around on the first day of the World Cup, Melitina got through to the leaders' top 3. She scored 18.750 points in ball and 18.800 in clubs, that correspond to a bronze medal. Due to her bright performance with ribbon, Staniouta became second in overall standings, with 18.550 points scored.
Russian athlete Yana Kudryavtseva was ahead in hoop (19.200) and ball (19.300), while Margarita Mamun came out on the top in clubs (19.150) and ribbon (19.200).
Belarusian National team (Maria Kadobina, Valeriya Pischelina, Arina Tsitsilina, Ksenya Cheldishkina, Hanna Dudzenkova) won a silver in group competition, with 36.250 points scored.
Russian team was the triumphant of the ninth series (37.600), a bronze went to Israeli team (36.150).
The ninth series of the World Cup in Kazan was marked by competitions with five ribbons, six clubs and two hoops.
