Hammer thrower Ivan Tsikhan's silver at the European Athletics Championships

The final day of the European Athletics Championships was pretty successful for the Belarusian National team, with Ivan Tsikhan's silver medal in Hammer Throw, - reports the NOC of Belarus press center. 

The final try of Belarusian hammer thrower Ivan Tsikhan set him on the second stage of the victory podium. He sent his hammer at the distance of 78.84m, having lost to the Poland's triumphant Pawel Fajdek (80.93m). The bronze medal went to another Polish athlete Wojciech Nowicki (77.53m). 

Belarus' results at the European Athletics Championships are as following: Tatsiana Khaladovich's gold medal in Javelin Throw, Alina Talay's silver medal in 100m Hurdles and Ivan Tsikhan's silver medal in Hammer Throw.
