34 Belarusian athletes participated in Nanjing 2014 in 16 sport disciplines. The competition programme took place from the 17th to 27th of August. Belarus athletes won 9 medals: 5 gold and 4 silver.

The Champions of the Second Summer Youth Olympic Games are Krystsina Staraselets in the Junior Women's Single Sculls at the distance of 1000m in Rowing, tennis player Iryna Shymanovich in Women's Doubles, Kamila Bobr in single Head to head sprint in Canoe, Stanislau Daineka in single Kayak and athlete Hanna Tarasiuk in the Women's Javelin Throw.

The silver medals were won by judoist Dzmitry Minkou, performing as part of mixed international team, Elvira Herman in the Women's 100m Hurdles, tennis player Iryna Shymanovich in the Women's Singles, Maryia Trubach in the Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Six medalists of the Youth Olympic Games are grand holders of the President`s Sports Club: Krystsina Staraselets, Iryna Shymanovich, Kamila Bobr, Hanna Tarasiuk, Dzmitry Minkou, Elvira Herman and a coach in canoe-kayak Pavel Mudragel. In total 16 grand holders of the President`s Sports Club took part in the Games.

Belarusian Team exceeded the four year figures in Singapore, when our athletes won 6 medals: 1 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze.
